Snap-On Smile

During the past years, great innovations have been introduced in the world of dentistry. Before, if you wanted to get that Celebrity smile, it involved lots of anesthesia injections, drilling and fabrication of crowns and cementation or bonding of the crowns or veneers. Today, everything changes from exhausting procedure to just a snap with the revolutionary Snap-On-Smile.

What Snap-On Smile Really Is?

Dr. Marc Leichtung is the brain that gave birth to Snap-On-Smile. Snap-On is really made of semi-elastic resin that looks like a shell that snaps on your teeth. This cosmetic procedure requires no drilling on your teeth, and most especially, no discomfort or pain. You will be offered several shades of teeth to choose from; as well as your choice of what shape of teeth you want to have like square, round square, round, etc. Of course, your dentist will be there to guide you with the right color and shape that will look best for your complexion and facial contour. This affordable procedure is considered cosmetic dentistry which is just not permanent and it is very affordable.

Why were Snap-Ons created?

Dr. Leichtung confessed that his goal why he made the Snap-On Smile is not for the public to imitate how the Hollywood celebrity stars look. He made it because he wanted to give painless dental cosmetic procedure to his patients within a more affordable price. To have a smile makeover may cost around $20,000, and most people cannot afford to get that done. But snap-ons can run within $1,300 to $1,600 budget. There is a very huge difference between these new smile innovations with the conventional dental cosmetic procedures. He wanted to enhance the individual person’s look by giving them an improved smile, even though it just goes over their own teeth. Some people decide to go forward with veneers and crowns after having the snap-ons.

What are the advantages of Snap-On Smile over other dental cosmetic procedures?

Snap-On Smile has a lot to offer. It requires:

  • No drilling.
  • No adhesives and bondings.
  • No pain.
  • No expensive bills.
  • No lengthy time on the dental seat.
  • Can reverse back to original teeth.

It is also reversible. If you want to have your old teeth back, then you can with this technology. You will feel more confident with how your teeth look. It actually correct the imperfections of your teeth’s color, length and shape. Just like a dental crown, it covers your teeth perfectly revealing only the newly restored set. You can use this for a short period of time or for a lifetime. Sometimes, when patients are having dental implants done, Snap-On Smile is placed on the front teeth while waiting for it to heal.

Most people are judged wrongly because of how their teeth look. If you are concerned about your budget, you can find some ways to have that beautiful smile. Dental cosmetic procedures have innovations which are affordable for you. Thanks to Doctor Marc Leichtung who invented the Snap-On Smile where you can have the celebrity look you always wanted.

One good aspect I liked about Snap-On is that it doesn’t require drilling on teeth hence no pain and discomfort. You can reverse back to original teeth if you don’t like it. How cool is that? I am really up for it.

This is a great economical choice in my opinion for consumers on a lower budget. I think it really will help people feel confident in their smile more so than before.

Yes it is Austin. Although it is just a temporary solution, it still gives people on a low budget a nice smile to be proud of.

The days of drilling are gone! At least for this cosmetic procedure. I am going to send this link to my close friend who needs some work done to their teeth. Thanks for the enlightening article!

Having a smile that you can be proud of is so important for one’s self-esteem. Judging from the before and after pix, the snap-on fittings really look like they are a good alternative to much more costly and painful procedures.

Yes, Sarah. I am in complete agreement with your comment. Your smile really impacts your self-esteem.

If i had to choose i would get the snap on it is easier does not cause pain and costs lest. The sanp on can have some diffaculty like eating some foods might not work for some people. Or some will have to take the off whaen they eat so either way it is a good way to choose.

Wow I have looked into veneers and a partial bridge for the front of my teeth, I never knew there was a less expensive and non-surgical alternative. I thought there was only permanent caps or veneers, that’s great that the snap on is temporary but still gives you the same look as if you had all of that work done for a tenth of the price.I love your posts, it gives me information I would probably not get from my own dentist, thanks!

Allison, you are very welcome. Just remember that yes it will give you a great look that you are looking for, but it will never look as natural as veneers. but it is a temporary alternative.

This sounds great and exactly what I am looking for!!! With those prices (compared to the alternatives) there’s no longer an excuse not to have a beautiful smile that you’re proud of!

Yes Darlene. That is very true. You just have to make sure you are a candidate for it.

This makes the snap-on smile option sound very attractive. For me, it’s so important that there wouldn’t be any drilling involved. Also, it’s good that you can choose different shapes to match what your teeth looked like naturally.

Yes, the no drilling is one of the features that attacts many to this type of procedure.

The snap on option seems so reasonable to me. This also seems to be the less painful way to a better smile. they seem to look great and is a much faster way to a beautiful smile. I will very much consider it in the future.

This seems like a great idea. Lord only knows my smile could use some work. My dentist does his best and has been patient with me and what I want and need. However, he hasn’t mentioned this. Should I mention it to him or would I order from you?

If you like your dentist and are happy with him, then go ahead and ask him. Some dentists may not do this treatment. If he doesn’t and you still want to do this treatment, you are very welcome to come to me.

I really wish they had this available a few years ago when my sister received her clear coat retainer. This is a lot more financially friendly with a lot less pain. It’s great to see a new alternative.

I wish this technology would have been around years ago. I had a terrible smile and went throughout life without smiling. It took a lot of money and discomfort to look right, and I still do not have a celebrity smile!
